So just wrapped up two more rounds of chemo☢️☣️ and steroids 💉💪🏻 this weekend😃😃 at MDA. After some research on the World Wide Web 💻(specifically YouTube 📺) I’ve decided to refer to my chemo ☢️☣️ as the “sauce” and the steroids 💉💪🏻 as the “juice.”😎
I’ll explain it like the Best Buy guy did in a video that I think makes perfect sense in my current situation. Juice 💉💪🏻only lasts for so long. You buy some Minute Maid OJ and after a week it’s probably not good anymore! Even if you don’t open it, it’s only going to stay fresh for so long. So juice 💉💪🏻is a temporary solution that makes me feel great for a few days.
When you go to McDonald's and get that 10-piece 🐔nugget meal 🍗 and get some BBQ sauce it will last for years if you don’t open it! So the sauce is long-term. To me that’s more in line with my chemo☢️☣️. I need both to help my body fight El Chapo McRib and have the energy and strength to heal the damage it’s already caused. Just thought I’d share that little nugget for everyone to enjoy. 😎😃 I mean what’s the point of life if you can’t have fun with it?🤷🏻♂️🤪
It was also explained to me that the sauce weakens my immune system. So I have to be careful when I’m around other humans🧔🏻👩🏻👶🏻 and pets. If I get sick that could easily mean another vacay in the ICU.🏩😬😬 And I have zero desire to spend any time back at the Myeloma Garden and Suites.🏥🏩🏨 That’s where the juice comes in. It kind of offsets the effects of the sauce and helps my immune system continue to fight off sick germs. At least, that’s my interpretation of how all this works, but I’m sure Ashley Desormeaux will read this and just shake her head at me. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
This week I’ll continue to push forward with my recovery. I managed to ditch the walkers and now just use a cane for support when I need it. 😎😃 I’m also trying to manage my pain meds to a minimum, as needed. I feel like a little pain is worth being able to 🚙 drive myself around now. Hopefully with some routine physical therapy I’ll be ready to hit the gym again in no time. 😎💪🏻🏃🏻♂️🏋🏻♀️
I know I have to keep pushing forward and working back to being strong and healthy. I’m sure there will be more road blocks and setbacks ahead, but I wouldn’t expect anything less. That’s just life and when life gives you lemons 🍋🍋 you make lemonade. 😎😎
It’s also reassuring knowing that God✝️ has the wheel and Jesus✝️ is the co-pilot on the El Chapo McRib exit tour that I’m currently on. 😎🤓 My faith will make this journey one for the ages!
Stay tuned for some future fun events that are currently being planned by a lot of amazing people! To everyone involved in these events - thank you so much. It’s truly a blessing,
Thanks to everyone for the continued support and prayers that I’m getting! Every day I still get messages from family and friends offering their prayers and support. Thank you! Thanks to family and friends who continue to help Ash and me get things done around the house and all the help we get with C! Without everyone’s support we would be in serious trouble, so thank y’all.
I also have to say thanks to my CPSO and blue family. Y’all have made our lives easier and we can’t thank everyone enough for the prayers and support.

God bless everyone!! HE>i
